The Story Behind DeeJay Serafim
Serafim Ioannou, professionally known as DeeJay Serafim, is a New York–based DJ recognized for delivering high-energy entertainment at weddings, private celebrations, and nightlife events across North America. His passion for music began early, mastering the art of mixing by the age of 16 and quickly developing a reputation for reading crowds and creating unforgettable dance floor experiences.
What began as a personal passion soon became a professional career. In 2007, Serafim entered the music industry as part of a DJ duo before launching his independent career in 2009. Since then, he has continued to build a reputation for professionalism, versatility, and the ability to energize audiences of all kinds.
From Passion to Professional Career
Over the years, DeeJay Serafim has provided entertainment for a wide range of events including weddings, baptisms, corporate gatherings, nightclubs, and large cultural celebrations. His ability to blend genres and adapt to different audiences allows him to create a personalized experience for every event he performs.
Today, he performs regularly throughout the Tri-State area and across North America, bringing his signature energy to events in cities such as New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., Seattle, and Toronto.

Throughout his career, Serafim has shared the stage with a number of well-known Greek artists, including Giorgos Tsalikis, Konstantinos Koufos, Giannis Sofillas, Kostas Doxas, Nikos Apergis, Nivo, Master Tempo, Giannis Kritikos, Makis Dimakis, and Nikos Zoidakis.
These collaborations have helped establish him as one of the most respected Greek DJs performing in North America, known for bringing authenticity, energy, and musical versatility to every performance.

Beyond private celebrations and nightlife venues, DeeJay Serafim has performed at major events organized by respected Greek organizations including United Greek Americans (UGA), the National Hellenic Student Association (NHSA), the Intercollegiate Hellenic Society (IHS), Sons of Pericles, Maids of Athena, Oloi Mazi Denver, and the Young Adult League (YAL).
